Hi-diddle-diddle,
The cat and the fiddle -
The cow jumped over the moon;
The wee hot-dog laughed to see such sport,
And shouted, "I'll be with you soon."
The young pig did squeal
And the calf did re-veal
That they had soared clear to the sky
In the clouds lambs had drifted, -
For the ceiling was lifted -
While mortals looked on with a sigh.
